Focus will be on communication and interaction for cognition and learning how to navigate social, emotional, and mental health difficulties by navigating sensory or physical needs through a working partnership.
• Autism Awareness: Here you will understand what autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is and the learning difficulties related to it. Find out the different autism diagnosis and how to use cognitive approaches in dealing with autistic individuals and the considerations you have to take into account when dealing with them and further engage in autism awareness
• ADHD Awareness: Learn what ADHD looks like in young people, adults and in a family and education setting. You will have to learn parent training for ADHD and its attention difficulties to use cognitive approaches in order to organise care for those with ADHD.
