Lovely hotel - would stay again! Stayed for 3 nights and would definitely stay again. Nice big hotel with a modern reception and smiley staff. Dining area looked lovely although we did not use it. Our room was fresh and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were pleased to have a mini fridge, an iron + ironing board and a hairdryer.

A great hotel for a business stay! I thoroughly enjoyed my three nights at the mercure. I was travelling up for business and I felt so looked after during my entire stay. My room was upgraded to a privilege room which included a free mini bar of soft drinks, water, robes & slippers, a nespresso machine and a free newspaper each morning. The room was big and spacious, the cleanliness was of excellent standard,

Second stay here and really can’t fault the place... Beds comfortable and great location for the city centre lots around to walk to.
