Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, staff welcoming and helpful the food was excellent, room was large and clean. Guiness was as good as any I have had in this country😂. Would recommend Would have been 5 stars if there had been a little entertainment. Ideal place to stay with eisteddfod shortly in Pontypridd. Chatted to a couple from London who were visiting Castle Coch an Caerphilly castle. SBGalepL

From arriving at Miskin Manor to departure the staff are so helpful and friendly. We were in the main part of the hotel, we found that there were rooms seperate from the main buiding. It's like a maze....didn't realise how big it was !. The room was lovely and clean, bed was a king size which was comfortable even though the mattress was on the firm side. Because we were early, we went for a walk around the lovely garderns and followed the footpath past Miskin Cricket ground into Miskin village where we found Miskin Gastropub. But, since our deal included evening meal we only had a drink there. Our evening meal was very good, we both enjoyed what we orderd, it was good value for money. We did have a little delay on the dessert but considering that two of their chefs had been unaviable and the restraunt was full, the staff did well.Breakfast, was help yourself with a variety of juices / cerals / yoghurt / fruit / toast / rolls and full cooked breakfast. Coffee was lovely. It's a shame that some of the facilities are no longer available.
