I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff were fantastic. I would especially like to give a shout out to the lady that checked me in. She was so polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. The pool and spa were great after a long day a work.

My husband and I live in Edinburgh and decided to visit England for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday. We chose to stay at the Mercure, and we had an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, especially Sam at reception and Aziz from the restaurant — both went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was beautifully decorated for our anniversary, which was such a lovely surprise. The hotel itself is stunning, our room was super comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant’s ambiance was fantastic, and the spa was a wonderfully relaxing experience. I also really enjoyed the gym! I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion — it’s the perfect choice!

Fantastic overnight Spa break. From arrival, nothing was too much for the staff to help with. We arrived an hour early and were told our room was ready. We were given a double room having requested a twin room. When we rang down to Reception this was quickly rectified and the Receptionist helped us move to our fantastic twin room with 2 double beds, a bath and separate shower. The spa area was very clean and the treatments were very good. The evening meal included in our package was superb, we both chose a delicious rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection. At breakfast, the staff could not be more attentive. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. We will be returning.
