<B>Best Afternoon Tea in the Lake District.</b> Best Afternoon Tea we went last year and we were so excited to come again this year and you did not disappoint , we would highly recommend Briery Wood , everything about the whole experience is excellent from the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel so welcome.

<b>Great Place to stay.</b> Great Value. Ideal location to explore from good bus route both ways. Fantastic Breakfast and evening meal was spot on. Staff really good, thanks to both lads in the night who served us. Plenty of parking space rooms nice and big, grounds lovely and well maintained. Very relaxing and peaceful. Will be back again

<B>Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and great food!</b> What a truly lovely hotel. The first time we stayed anywhere with our dog and we were made so welcome. All the staff were amazing and really made a fuss of us and our dog. The garden room we stayed in was lovely, very clean with a very comfortable bed. We stayed for dinner and breakfast, and I must say both were incredible and very tasty. Both justified the 2 AA rosette award. The location was perfect for us. We cannot wait to return. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so wonderful.

<b>Well worth a visit.</b> A fantastic 2 night break. Lovely clean room, great food and super polite, professional, friendly staff. I'm looking forward to returning. There is ample carpark space. We chose to leave the car and use public transport which passes the entrance way every half hour in each direction. A good base for exploring the lakes.
