What is there to do nearby?
Away from the absolute comfort of the hotel, Ischia has plenty of exciting things to see and do, and we’re not just talking about a long day spent lying by the shore! The island is famous for its breathtaking gardens, the most well-known being the landscaped gardens of La Mortella which are inspired by the gardens of the iconic Alhambra in Granada, Spain.
One of the most memorable sights of the island is the Castello Arangonese, dating back nearly 2500 years to when the original fortress was built by Hiero I - the structure that stands now is in of itself 300 years old!
Across the island in the town of Sant’Angelo you’ll find a picturesque town lying in the shadow of an enormous green boulder lying in the sea. Relax in a café or restaurant and watch the peaceful waves of the marina go by.
If after a few days of discovery you just fancy total relaxation, take a trip to one of the island’s thermal spas. Visitors flock from far and wide to bathe in the volcanic hot springs and its thick mud to reap its much-touted health benefits. It’s medicinal relaxation! How can you say no?

Great hotel. Very authentic hotel. Beautiful pool area surrounded by tropical plants. . ,decor authentic Italian , great service , good value food and very helpful staff . Central position from which to explore the island . Near to the port with lots of restaurants close by . I highly recommend this hotel

Just delightful. Lovely hotel, friendly staff and authentic local food. A gem right in the centre of Ischia. The rooms are tradition but in keeping with the vibe.... relax and enjoy the ambience, surroundings and private beach on the best kept secret island of Ischia

Great Hotel. A lovely villa in the centre of Ischia Town. Our room was quaint, rather old fashioned, but in keeping with the hotel. Delightful thermal pool in a tropical garden. Lovely staff serving lunch and drinks by the pool. Dinner was on a stunning rooftop terrace with views of the sea and town. Excellent food was served each evening. Half board is a must. Excellent staff throughout the hotel.
