<b>An indulgent treat:</b> Stayed for a weekend, initially for an event & a second time. The double room was beautiful, clean, spacious. I used the steam, sauna and jacuzzi which were excellent, clean and warm. I'm coeliac and notified staff on arrival. The restaurant staff were excellent. They arranged for a gluten free full breakfast which was prepared separately & I had no symptoms. They even provided an extra gluten free bagel. Food was great. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The manager was also very welcoming and ensured you were happy with your stay. I definitely recommend a stay here.

<b>Top notch stay.:</b> We got treated to a Murder Mystery evening on Friday. Place looked ok online. How wrong could I be. It was amazing. Had a dip in the pool it was good. Expected average 3 course meal, it was fabulous. Rachel, thank you for your excellent customer service. Changed our room without any fuss. Thanks Hannah and all other staff. Going to treat family members in the new year to a weekend.

<b>Friendly and good quality spa break:</b> A 3 night stay as a treat from a friend. Emma on reception sorted out the problem of the booking being lost efficiently and with a smile. The superior room had no central heating (that no one had mentioned) so the only heat was from the small electric wall heater that provided no heat in the bathroom. Emma again came to the rescue by providing a plug in heater for heat into the bathroom. This combination worked really well for the stay. The spa area was warm and inviting. The spa treatments given by Liv and Zoe were professional and relaxing even though one was interrupted by a false fire alarm. Staff immediately gave it as complimentary due to the hassle. The breakfasts were excellent quality and had lots of variety. We ate in the restaurant one evening and had a lovely 2 courses from the limited but excellent quality food. Disappointing was the fact we could not see a menu in advance of the restaurant opening. Overall was a lovely stay and we would plan to return again in future
