Lovely hotel , Exceptional host! Lovely 2 day stay . We rarely write reviews but this was fabulous. Jack was an exceptional host , he even drove us into town on the first night and collected us after our meal. We spent a great evening in the hotel bar on the 2nd night and had one of Jacks home made pizzas. The room was lovely - comfy bed! Would highly recommend a stay , and hopefully will be returning .

A 5 star experience Jack is the best host in the world! He made our stay just brilliant. He was so kind, taxiing us to at a restaurant and back, moving the car in case it was stuck the next morning and bringing it back and warming it up after the snow. It was a pleasure to be snowed in! The hotel is lovely. The bar area has a wonderfully warm log fire and it was very companionable drinking and eating in there with other guests and with Jack himself. The rooms were well-appointed, with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful hidden gem we don't really want to share ! Absolutely gorgeous stay- booked to attend a gig in Pitlochry but had the warmest, cosiest stay - if we didn't have the gig to go to we would have happily stayed in the lounge area all night ,drinks, various games to play, music, poker table and the best part- such a friendly, informative and attentive owner. Didn't expect such a memorable stay when we booked- we were blown away. The owner could not do enough for us, he offered us a lift into the town and back for the gig we attended to let my partner have a few beers. The town is a walkable distance but at night in winter the lift was grately appreciated. Rooms are standard georgian country house but so homely, all kitted out with different clans tartans, beautiful toiletries, tablets loaded with all your usual streaming apps, the usual teas coffees etc and a couple of lovely wee treats each ! (Delicious). The covered garden area is lit with festoon lights, there is a bbq, plenty of seating and offers a heater (as we stayed in winter). The front lounge has a projector and sofas to watch a film if you fancy, it also has a piano and guitar if you are musically gifted... I didn't want to embarrass myself with the guitar on this occassion but maybe next time! Beds were so comfertable, breakfast was delicious - we had the full cooked (just missing a tattie scone) but was pigging out eating it as it was! All in all we don't really want to tell you how amazing it was as we want to keep it as a hidden gem but want the owner to get the gratitude he deserves - can't wait to visit again and thank you kindly for everything!
