You’ll be welcomed with a bottle of wine, and you’ll have the essential comforts in the form of a double bed and all bedding, tea and coffee-making facilities, electric heater, and hotel-quality towels, separate his/hers shower/toilet block, toiletries, electric lighting inside and out, and a mobile phone charging station. Plus, a few enticing extras like an outdoor bistro set and a fire pit. Stay in a standard hobbit hut, or upgrade to the new Flamingo hut which is much larger with a bigger outdoor area.

It’s the outdoor spa that’s sure to capture your heart above all else! History buffs must go for a stroll through the beautiful Abbey Gardens and cast an eye to the ruins of the 11th-century Abbey of St Edmund. Or you can go even further back in time by viewing the Bronze Age, Roman, and Middle Age exhibitions at Moyse’s Hall Museum. For even more green (and a big splash of blue), head to the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB for spending sea views and vibrant heathland.
