Lovely spot for a short getaway... We stayed at the Oak Tree Inn for one night on the way up to Fort William. Check in was straightforward and friendly. We were allocated a room in one of the small cottages a short walk from the reception/pub. It had ample free parking outside the cottage. The room was well appointed, well maintained and had a great view over Loch Lomond. The room had complimentary tea and coffee along with some biscuits. The bar/restaurant was a short walk away and each cottage had complimentary umbrellas if needed. We had an evening meal and breakfast in the hotel. Both were excellent with attentive service and tasty food. We only stayed one night, but will definitely be back for a longer stay.

POD Stay... The pod was excellent and staff extremely accommodating. We had takeaway food to our pod and it was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this more for a peaceful getaway. The location is roughly an hour from Glasgow and the drive is slightly rural but nothing crazy. Even got to sit with the ducks for a little while! :)

Very good - highly recommended! Gorgeous, relaxed setting. The room I had in one of the cottages was well appointed with all amenities, plus very clean with a wonderful view of Loch Lomond from the deck. Check-in was easy, free parking adjacent to the cottage. Enjoyed a delicious dinner in the pub (reservation recommended); breakfast was equally good with a wide variety of choices.
