Nice mini break: Nice holiday home, a bit small but clean, tidy and warm. Full central heating. Staff were friendly. Pool is a good size with separate mini pool for babies/toddlers. Place is quite big and can be a bit of a maze. Try a book a home by the lake, much quieter and no view of other homes.

Great park: I visited here the last weekend of the summer holidays, with a friend and 3 children. We stayed in the Larch superior caravan & booked through Hoseasons. Reception was very busy when we arrived, but they seemed to check people in fairly fast. Our caravan was quite close to Club Tropicana entertainment complex. It was also right next to the play park, which was great for the kids. We had a 3 bedroomed caravan with 2 toilets, it was spotlessly clean and seemed very new. The kitchen wasn’t really well equipped, no cheese grater or oven trays. 3 pans and a poor frying pan, with one serving dish. Bin bags & one toilet roll were provided, but nothing else. Beds were very comfortable, with very new pillows. The shower was very powerful and a decent size. The park has amusement arcades, a pub, a Chinese, pizza shop, fish and chips and a small shop. The main part of chapel st Leonard’s is a short walk away. This has a co- op and more shops and take aways. The beach is accessed through the caravan site opposite. It’s not a great beach, a bit gravelly, but has a nice path to chapel st Leonard’s to walk along. In the entertainment complex there is a soft play area for kids. The main entertainment area is huge, with lots of seating, but the seats in front of the stage needed to be bought!! At 8pm if these tables were empty they could be sat at for free. We really didn’t like this idea, because it meant so many people being stuffed into a small area that had free tables. We struggled to find seating Friday and Saturday. We were there on soul/Motown weekend, which we loved. There were some great singers on, we enjoyed Sunday night the best. Drinks in the bar were a bit pricey and there was also a snack bar that served hot food. Bingo was on every night and cost £13 per book. I won a line which was £170. The house prizes were about £350-£500, so worth playing. The swimming pool needed the be booked, you can do this up to 3 days in advance. You can call them before you arrive or go in to book,
