Planting Tips

• Garvineas prefer fertile, well drained and moist soil that has been dug deeply, creating space for wide roots
• When knocking out the plant from the container, inspect the roots. If they are circling around the compost, it is best to tease them out. Simply push your fingers into the rootball along the bottom edge and pull and repeat!
• Use a trowel or spade to create a deep and wide hole
• When planting, set the crowns slightly above the soil level, then firm back around the soil using your hands for small clumps and heel for larger areas.
• Water well to settle the soil and prevent drying
