What is there to do in Porto?

During your two, three or four-night stay, you will have lots of opportunities to get to know the ins and outs of the city. Perhaps the best place to start would be with a walk along the River Douro, stopping to admire the boats in the port and spotting the street art and gorgeous hand-painted tiles that dot the city. For some spectacular Porto views head to the Sé cathedral and take in the city from its terrace, or venture to Gaia’s hilltop Jardim do Morro. Honing back in on the city, the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal are more than worth a visit - wander around the manicured lawns, giant magnolias, olive groves, sculptures and fountains, it's the perfect break from the buzz of the city outside. A spot of culture can be achieved with a visit to Museu de Arte Contemporânea and Casa de Serralves or a quick trip to the Igreja de São Francisco.

Business Trip in Porto I visited Porto for 3 days for a Business Trip. BessaHotel Baixa was an excellent choice because of its location, but the most important was the personnel. They were always eager to assist. The rooms, though not very big, are comfortable and with very good beds. After a long working day, it's a point that counts. I definitely recommend it.

Great Modern Hotel The hotel is very modern and everything you need in a hotel to feel comfortable and at home. It is also in a good location. You are close to shopping and train stations. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. If I go back to Porto, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Excellent hotel with great location We really liked verything about the place! The staff and the hotel have exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and spacious, the staff was super friendly and the location was excellent! We will highly recommend this hotel to our friends and colleagues!
