<b>Nice friendly hotel</b> Hotel is nice and room spacious. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There doesn’t seem to be many staff so sometimes the wait for food is a bit long but the food is very nice, the food is the same in the Bistro and the Bar in the evening which is a bit of a shame, would of been nice to get something a little less formal in the bar. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool and gym were very nice and well equipped. As stated on some previous reviews, it is a little dated in some areas but nothing major. Would definitely return. If you are doing The Dark Sky experience it is only a 15 minute drive away.

<b>Peaceful location</b> We stayed here after doing the Four Waterfall walk. It is set in a lovely location next to the river. The staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. We had tea and scones when we arrived, all was presented lovely. We went to the spa and were clean/ tidy but as others have said a little tired around the ages. The room was clean, bed comfortable but definitely in need of updating/ modernising. We ate in the bistro in the evening and the food was really tasty. It was same for the breakfast too, good selection and well cooked Welsh breakfast. We had a good nights sleep and enjoyed some tasty food thank you
