Grab a bite at TorvehallerneKBH, a dynamic farmer’s market selling fresh and local produce for your to enjoy. For something a little more relaxing, CopenHot is the place to be. Oslo
Being city centre, you’ll have Oslo at your fingertips! Start with the iconic Royal Palace, a 19th century residence of the Norwegain monarchy with impressive gardens and a magical interior. Oslo cathedral and Akershus Fortress are also on your check-list for you to really soak up the architecture and culture of Norway. The Munch museum and gallery is striking for its incredible art and memorabilia of the famous painter.
Grab a cocktail or two at HIMKOK before tasting some delightful Norwegian delicacies such as smoked whale, Sursild (pickled herring) or the national dish Farkial made of mutton and cabbage. Small double, with exceptional breakfast! Great hotel. Close to the national theatre for transport links. Basic small double, was very small but I knew this when booking. The breakfast is exceptionally tasty.

Gentofte Gem. Warm welcome and a room mix up was sorted by the receptionist without fuss. Rooms small but clean and fresh. Breakfast was plentiful, typical European fayre fresh meats cheeses fruit and breads etc. Lovely. 10 min walk from train station. Excellent service into Copenhagen and beyond. Local shops and bar. All staff helpful.
